Why I decided to make this costume: Crack Crew was having a big KH2 group for AnimeNEXT and while wondering who I could do and would want to do, StarDustShadow and I flipped through a guidebook and when I saw Xemnas I knew I had to do it! It wasn’t until later that I found out he was the boss of the organization. Perfect! >:D

Construction notes: My old Kuja boots were destroyed, repainted and cut for organization boots, detailed with white and black electrical tape. Pants were my itachi pants. The cloak is a bottomweight twill fully lined in sun silk satin. Custom 52” heavy duty zipper and non-functional pockets. Oversized hood from a jedi pattern and the cloak from a modified Matrix coat pattern to accommodate all 6 special seams. Pulls were chains sewn into eyelets in the hood, model magic sculpted around crystals hooked onto the chains. The middle length of chain was a pain in the ass but Miya~Kome’s mom knew a nifty wire-threading trick and got it all together securely. Epoxy was annoyingly tried first. Bad idea! Froggy contacts bought from Coastalcontacts.com. White mascara changed my eyebrow color and the wig was a white enchantment from amphigory styled with pomade and Got2B spray. Layered spikes in the back and 8 spikes around the top and side of the wig. Glow weapons were from NeonHusky.com.

Extra Thoughts: I really loved the turnout on this cosplay in the end, it was a lot of fun and very recognizable and fun having the other organization xiii members around. Glow weapons do not mix with daylight! They look white but really do glow red in the daytime.
