So, you've somehow stumbled on the About Me page of my cosplaying website! Prepare to suffer through a brief history of my interests and life! Full reading of this page rewards you with the feeling that you may or may not better know me!

So, I'm currently a student at a great college in Pennsylvania and a cosplayer when not inundated with schoolwork! I'm a Biology major, German Studies minor, and I also am active in the dance department (Ballet). I am usually really busy at school, and cosplay tends to take the back burner during the school year. I have a pretty massive room next year, as I am the Head Resident Advisor (HRA) of a dorm on campus and so perhaps I will be able to move some of my cosplay crapola into the extra space. Before college, I was still taking Tang Soo Do, and became a Black Belt before I had to leave and go to college. I was also really involved in the creation and running of my high school's Anime Club which I really really loved. Extracurriculars on campus include Fencing Club, being VP of Biology Club, Founding Threads, the fashion club on school, but I am just a little too crazy with class work to make plans for that club at school. Let's see, I'm also a Peer Tutor in Biology and a member of the MDA (Dance Association). I'm thinking about becoming a Campus Tour Guide as well. Future plans are currently to go to grad school and get a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and become a great P.A. Sorry if that sounded like a resume! haha

Enough of normal things! This is a cosplay site! I clearly love anime, manga, video games (especially RPG's and fighters) and cosplay is the perfect combination of my interests, as I love fashion as well. I started cosplaying in fall of 2003 with two of my friends Natalie and Angie, and have been hooked ever since. I tend to choose the villainous or "Bishi" characters, just because I think they're cool. With each costume I learn something new and expand my cosplaying skills and with each con I get to meet new friends and hang out with old ones who I treasure very much. I wouldn't still be cosplaying if I didn't have who I have in the cosplay scene today. I am currently a Journeyman Class cosplayer thanks to the Crack Crew's win @ A-Next 2006. (Go us!), but I've learned over time that its not so much about awards but about having a good time with the game of cosplay. See you on the con circuit!
